On the ground floor of our chalet, we have created a superb, modern, self-contained studio apartment. Just 100 metres from the cable-car, the studio comprises a tastefully furnished main living area; fully fitted wardrobes, a well equipped kitchen with oven, hob, fridge, etc; and an en-suite shower room/WC. There is a large and extremely comfortable (according to our guests(!)) double bed settee providing accommodation for two people. There’s also a full single size banquette and a child’s cot is available. This cosy apartment is heated by modern electric radiators and also by an attractive “log burner” effect electric fire

 The lovely Chalet Bear with the most fantastic views of Lake Geneva to the front and the Memises mountains to the rear is located towards the top of the prestigious Montee des Alpages road and is only 100 meters and a 5 minute walk from the Thollon-les-Memises Télécabine and the village centre. When the conditions are right you are able to ski-in and ski-out from the chalet. Chalet Bear can accommodate 6 people in 3 good size bedrooms (two rooms with a double bed and one room with 2 single beds) and has 2 bathrooms, one with a bath and one with a shower. Wi-fi and UK Freesat TV is also available. A truly beautiful chalet with spectacular views both to the front and to the rear this is a great opportunity to explore the Northern French Alps on foot, on ski’s, or by bike. Within easy reach are famous towns such as Evian, Montreux, Morzine, Chatel, and Yvoire, or take a boat on Lake Geneva.
